Modem Master ActiveX is an interesting ActiveX component that can be used by any application that supports standard ActiveX controls.

The programmer who uses Modem Master ActiveX can, by certain methods and functions, perform a series of actions related to the modem: receive answers through the device, send any information via the modem, read the data that the signal captures and so forth. It lets you work with any port number, ratio and port options (parity, stop bits, etc).

Other features of this Modem Master ActiveX component are these: it can automatically notify you when a call is coming, it works with COM, LPT and PRN ports, detects the last error, if any, etc.
